Shipping & Returns

Warranty
All Associated Parts products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects at time of shipment. Claims must be reported within 14 days of receipt to Associated Parts in writing, specifying type of product defect and date of purchase. Any products found to be defective by an authorized representative of Associated Parts are limited to replacement of product or refund of the original purchase price. Associated Parts cannot be responsible for consequential damages and labor charges. Warranty does not cover deterioration due to normal wear, defects and damage due to alterations, negligence, and use beyond safe operating limits. Associated Parts' total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.

Product Return
Products must be returned within 30 days and must be resaleable to be valid for credit by initiating an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). Returned merchandise, except for the specific belts, must have prior authorization and are subjected to a 15% restocking fee. Returned merchandise without prior authorization and/or returned after 30 days will be refused and/or subject to a restocking charge of 30%. Timing belts are subject to a 30% restocking fee and must have prior authorization. All returned merchandise without prior authorization and/or returned after 30 days will be refused and/or subject to a 35% restocking fee. Custom cut timing belts are non-refundable and cannot be returned for credit. Serpentine, Variable Speed, and Kevlar Belts are subject to a 15% restocking fee and must have prior authorization. All returned merchandise without prior authorization and/or returned after 30 days will be refused and/or subject to a 30% restocking fee. All metal and electronic related products are subject to a 30% stocking fee and must have prior authorization. All returned merchandise without prior authorization and/or returned after 30 days will be refused and/or subject to a 35% restocking fee. Other than warranty product, the customer will be responsible for inbound and outbound freight. Outbound freight charges will be deducted from any credits given on orders that received free outbound shipping on complete returns and/or partial returns who's total drops below $199.00.

To start the RMA process:
  1. Login to you account and select the 'My Account' section.
  2. In the Track Your Recent Orders section, click on the View Details link for the order you would like to initiate the RMA for.
  3. Once in the order, click on the "Add New RMA" button.
  4. Please choose the number of items you want to return in the Order Items section.
  5. In the Order Return Options section, choose the Reason and Method for the return.
  6. Finally, add comments in the Comments section. This is optional, but these comments will be visible to the AssociatedParts.com return specialists. Once done, click Save RMA and en email will be sent to both you and the AssociatedParts.com. 
Please allow 48 hours for RMA's to be processed.  We will respond to your request via email with an approval or denial. 


Cancelled Orders
Domestic orders cancelled due to customer error will be subject to a 5% cancellation fee. International orders cancelled due to customer error will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee.


Freight Policy
Orders over $199.00, shipped within the Continental United States qualify for free standard ground shipping. Orders exceeding $199.00 shipped within the Continental United States, include any metal products, and/or requiring Expedited shipping, do not qualify for free freight. Freight charges will be FOB shipping point and will be prepaid and added to the invoice.


Fulfillment Policy
Associated Parts orders placed before 3PM CDT, M-F on AssociatedParts.com or by phone are normally shipped within 24 Hrs.
